My sister's birthday!

Hi!

It was my sister's birthday yesterday, and what's a better excuse for spending the day baking and for making a card?

Well, as for the baking (chocolate-fruit tartlets, chocolate cake with strawberry cream filling, chocolate and caramel layers and mini coconut meringues), between working in the kitchen, making the card and tending my adorable daughter, I forgot to take pics, but my sis did, so as soon as she mails them to me I'll upload them here with the recipes!

I did manage to photograph the card though:

I made this one to meet the requirments of the new challenge by the sugar bowl.
for the round element of the sketch, I crocheted a coaster I'v found online.

I had a great fun doing this one as the sketch was nothing like anything I've ever done before- loads of layers!
